Just outside Deal on the Kent coast, Ripple Court is a privately owned country estate for three-day weddings. At its heart is the wildly romantic Georgian house, surrounded by walled gardens, lawns and mature grounds, with historic buildings and designed spaces hidden throughout.

As guests arrive they are welcomed with drinks in the Cowshed pub and courtyard, before making their way to the ceremony in our unique Italian walled garden.
From there, guests are led to the front of the house for cocktails and canapés before heading up to the walled gardens for drinks in the Gin Shed and feasting in the pavilion.
As the evening unfolds bands play in the ballroom, the outdoor fires are lit and guests can dance the evening away in our secret dance floor… ssssh!

From the front of Ripple Court to aperitivos at the Gin Shed, guests can wander through the walled gardens, Victorian glasshouses, apple trees and wildflower meadow along the way.
DINING
Feasting, drinking and speeches.
A completely bespoke wedding breakfast, served in the Pavilion, surrounded by the gardens with views across the estate to the main house.
DANCING
And when dinner is over, follow the lights down to the ballroom and welcome your guests
with a round of espresso martinis as the band kicks off and the evening begins.

THE WEEKEND

We don’t do back-to-back weddings at Ripple. Your wedding isn’t squeezed between somebody else leaving and another couple arriving.
FRIDAY - ARRIVE
Arrive at a time that suits you, unpack and settle into the cottage.
Spend the evening your way: dinner at the front of the house, drinks in the Cow Shed, a family BBQ, or a bath and takeaway in the South Wing Suite.
SATURDAY - MARRY
Wake up at Ripple and get ready in the Hair & Make-up Studio with your family and friends.
Marry in the gardens, spend the day moving from one beautiful corner of the estate to another, then dinner as the sun goes down and dancing in the woods after dark.
SUNDAY - RECOVER
Wake up slowly with coffee and breakfast in the South Wing Suite.
Brunch on the lawn with your guests, a family BBQ at the Cow Shed, or a quiet day just the two of you before leaving at a time that suits you.

Showcasing Kent's Local Producers
All of us at Ripple Court Estate are as proud about our property and its history as our local community here in East Kent. We are so excited to be working with some of the thriving businesses and producers in the area, and are committed to be part of a community creating some extraordinary experiences.
We are working with local growing experts in the propagation of our kitchen gardens, and will look to use as much of this produce in our food and cocktails as we can! Our chef will source meat and dairy from his local farm; our ice cream will be biked over from an organic producer in Deal. Our Kent vineyard is award winning, and some of the world’s best wine is a short boat hop to France from our local beaches.
This local first approach aligns to our wider vision for Ripple Court Estate which is to be as sustainable and ‘environmentally forward’ as we possibly can. This includes a near- future vision for Ripple Court Estate to be powered by 100% green energy.

Where can the wedding ceremony be held at Ripple Court Estate?
Choose from four beautiful ceremony spaces across Ripple Court Estate: the Ballroom, beneath the Lime Tree, under our licensed Pagoda, or within the Italian walled garden. The Pagoda offers a covered outdoor option, so you can still enjoy the gardens whatever the weather. Choose between an official registrar or a celebrant-led ceremony.
What is the maximum number of guests can Ripple Court Estate accommodate?
Ripple Court Estate can host up to 140 guests for your ceremony and wedding breakfast, with the flexibility to welcome a much larger guest list for the evening celebrations.
Can you tell me more about the catering options at Ripple Court Estate?
The food and beverages chosen for your special day can make your wedding even more memorable.
Kent, ‘The Garden of England’, provides us with an abundance of local produce, as does the estate itself.
We work exclusively with The Gatherers, a team of chefs who work with each couple to create a completely bespoke menu for their day. Private food tastings are held here at Ripple Court Estate ahead of the wedding.
We also offer private wine tastings and can work with you to create a bespoke drinks menu for the entire day, from welcome drinks and wines for dinner to cocktails served from our four bars.
Is parking available for guests at Ripple Court Estate?
Yes, there is plenty of on-site parking available for you and your guests throughout your time at Ripple Court Estate.
What music options are available for the wedding celebrations?
We have state of the art music system to ensure you can enjoy both DJs and live performers alike during the celebrations. You can choose your own music or acts or we can help advise local acts and DJs to fill your day with music and ambience.
What are the timings for the wedding day at Ripple Court Estate?
Every wedding at Ripple Court Estate is different, and we’ll work with you to create a day that feels entirely your own. Timings can be tailored around your plans, with evening celebrations finishing at 11:30pm.
